Khaled, who had been working on this album for much of this year, dedicated his latest work to his son – Asahd, who seems to already have a global following.
Asahd is also listed as the Executive producer. (He can barely talk but he has a job and earns a bigger salary than most).
The 22 track album includes two singles releases earlier this year – Shining featuring Jay Z and Beyoncé and I am the one featuring Chance the Rapper, Justin Bieber, Quavo and Lil Wayne.
It seems fans have already picked one of their favourites in the song I love you so much which features Chance the Rapper.
Both Chance and Khaled, who recently became fathers, dedicated that track to their children.
Chance explained the process of writing the song and putting it all together in a series of tweets:
Khaled gave me space to produce and write a whole record for his album, I dedicated it to Kensli & Asahd and alla babies out there. Drops Tn pic.twitter.com/LGLdOANji7

When I asked Khaled for his vocals for the song I had described the song but hadn't played it yet. I just asked him to talk to Assad.

It honestly sounds just like my dad. I have a good dad. And that love is very familiar and identifiable when you see it out in the world.

Just saying I'm happy for Khaled and Assad on this day and all their future days together. And I'm proud to have been apart of this anthem.

When he texted me the voice memo, I listened to it a million times without the music, one part in particular…

Fans across the world over seem to be loving the track and the rest of the album.
It’s safe to say the hype around this album was well worth it.
