Jumping Rope
If you are like most people, chances are good that you haven’t picked up, much less used a jump rope since you were in grade school. If that’s where you are coming from, you are missing out on a cheap and effective means of getting into shape. In fact, jumping rope burns more calories per minute than practically any other exercise. Besides, it’s fun too.
Squats
If you are looking for something that will tone a series of muscles in one exercise, squats could be just the thing. Squats tone your glutes, strengthens your body, and burns lots of calories. And if you want to really ramp up the benefits of his exercise, just make it into a jump squat, and throw in a weight to blast the fat.
Pushups
There are probably few exercises that people hate more than push-ups. This is not only due to the fact that they are a little harder to perform, but they also harken back to the time of high school PE and/or boot camp. On the other hand, pushups have a lot of beneficial effects, including working a wide variety of muscles as well as cardiovascular health.
Lunges
If you are in need of help with toning and strengthening your legs, lunges are one of the most effective means of doing this. Doing several sets of lunges will help you a lot, and if that’s not enough, try jump lunges.
Swimming
Despite the fact that you need a pool to swim, its benefits can easily make you want to find one so you can enjoy it. Swimming uses many muscle groups, not to mention building cardiovascular strength. Besides, what better way could there be to cool off during a hot summer day or any other for that matter?
Running
Running is another exercise that is immensely beneficial but recalls memories of gym class and boot camp. Unfortunately, it is an excellent method of getting into shape quickly and efficiently.
Beyoncé did a video a while ago fighting obesity in the United States and encouraging people to do more for their health. Check the video, great work out.
