As the seasons change from winter to spring to summer to autumn, so we go through similar changes in our lives. There comes a point in a person’s life when you need to move on and let go of a season that has already passed. Experience has taught me that the longer you hold on to a season, be it bad or sour relationship, occupation or possession, the more frustration will well up within. The remedy is to simply let go and trust God to direct your steps in every area of your life. Like winter and summer, not all situations are permanent and often change is inevitable.

We have to be good custodians of everything God has entrusted us with. That also includes managing well the seasonal changes, because try as you may, there is no way of stretching winter a little longer. When spring time comes the blossoms will start to bloom as God intended them to, so embrace each change in your life knowing that He who started the good work in you will bring it all to completion.  Whether we like it or not, the seasons of life will always happen and there is nothing we can do to stop them.  All we can do is deal with them as they occur and have the courage to push past life’s struggles.

Seasons or changes are sometimes hard to accept, but know that God makes all things new in His time.
